I have enjoyed millions of hands of blackjack. I began working my way into the gambling dens when I was sixteen. I have bet on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. Given all that I have still spent an abundance of funds at twenty-one. The gambling dens have made it basically impossible to defeat the casino.
I still enjoy the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over this time period I have wagered on a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get flush with this method or beat the house, however you will experience an abundance of fun. This tactic is built on the fact that 21 seems to be a game of runs. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I wager with basic strategy blackjack. When I lose I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I lose again I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I win I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the wager back down to the original amount.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely exciting at times. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your bets go up very fast. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome streaks a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Venetian a few years ago with $750 after 60 minutes using this method! And a few days ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can give away much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be astonished at the runs you notice betting this way. Here is a guide of what you would bet if you kept winning at a $5 game.
Wager five dollar
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $5 bet
Wager 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $10
Wager $10
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the original 10 dollar bet
Wager 10 dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Wager twenty dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the original $20 wager
Bet twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 40 dollar
Bet 40 dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the first forty dollar bet
Bet forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $80
Bet 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the first 80 dollar bet
Bet $80
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager 160 dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 160 dollar bet
If you left at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it often happen. And when it does you must NOT deviate and drop your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
